Important:

Before entering the programming mode, verify the possession of all the transmitters you will be using on the vehicle. Once you program the transmitter, the memory erases the other transmitters. You may program up to 4 transmitters

1) Turn OFF the ignition switch

2) Usa a fused jumper (3 amp is sufficient) and connect terminal 8 (back/white wire) to terminal 4 (black wire)

3) Close all the doors

4) Turn ON the ignition switch
the doors will lock

5) Press and hold the following buttons on one of the transmitters for 30 seconds:
lock and unlock

6) After a 30 second delay, the doors will lock and unlock

Important:
DO NOT turn OFF the ignition . If the switch is turned OFF the first transmitter becomes inoperative.

7) In order to program extra transmitters repeat Step 5

8)Disconnect the fused jumper wire from the data link connector

9) Turn off ignition

10) Verify functions of all programmed transmitters.
[size=3]Would it work for my Buick Lesabre 1997 ?

2000 Blazer keyless entry

Hello, Can anyone help? I just bought a 2000 blazer, it has PWR locks,Windows Etc. Remote keyless entry was an option but was not factory installed. I purchased a factory keyless entry receiver with two remotes-Receiver Part # 15042969. I was told the connector for the receiver is under the lower left dash panel. I found one that fits and plugged the receiver in but I cant get it to work. even though the remotes are factory programmed to the receiver I tried to get it into programming mode by holding the unlock button and cycling the key from off,on,off,on,offand releasing the switch. I got no conformation that the receiver was working. Is there something else I need to do to get this working? Thanks

2001 Chevy Blazer new remote

I just bought a 2001 Blazer from a dealership, but they only had one remote to go with it. I went by a Chevy dealership today and picked up a new remote and now I need to know how to program it. I'd rather not take it to the dealership cause I know they'll charge me an arm and a leg to do something that's probably simple enough to do myself. Any thoughts?

2001 Chevy Blazer remote programming

Actually nevermind my above message. I followed Tireburner's instructions for reprogramming a remote for a 2000 blazer, and it worked like a charm. Thanks!!

I recently lost operation on one of the keyless entry remotes to my 2000 Impala. I was cranking my engine when I lost the entire electrical system. Turned out to be a bad connection at the battery. I tightened the bolts and it started fine, but my fob no longer works. The other one works fine. Do I really have to take the car to the dealer for reprogramming, or is this something I can do myself. Thanks!

I recently bought a new keyless entry remote for my 98 silverado fcc#GOH-MM6-101890. I have one that came with the truck that works but I can't program the other by any technique I have seen. I think this is a dealer added option and might be a code alarm unit. Any ideas?

Thumbs up Keyless Entry Questions (Chevrolet Related)?....Ask In Here!

Lets try to keep all the keyless entry info in a smaller area. Its also easier to search through, and keeps the forum from having a bunch of threads all on the same topic.

Check the other (closed) thread for info before posting a question. Thanks.

Feel Free to post. Any questions, PM me.

EDIT: Big thanks to Tireburner, for helping out with keyless entry questions. And anyone else I missed
