CarMD
Does anyone have any opinions on this product? Is it worth the $119 they are asking for it?
http://www.carmd.com/ Thanks CL8

Re: CarMD
Just looks like an OBD II code reader.
I would ask what the catch is though. The website seems heavy on sales and marketing, but rather thin on any details.

Re: CarMD
I'm not familiar with it, but it's probably just a diagnostic tool like any other OBD computer or software you can buy.

Re: CarMD
I've seen the output from the CarMD and must admit, I was a bit impressed. It seems to offer a pretty thorough report, although it may be about equivalent to getting a diagnosis from an educated parts store salesperson. One impressive item was that it also provided diagnostic codes on the ABS and airbag systems, so it does appear to have more functionality than the standard consumer-grade scan tool.

Do you know if there was any extra cost in getting the output and report?

Re: CarMD
There was no mention of an extra cost for the report.
