Unhappy Remote start use??

Ugggh.. I picked up a 2000 Explorer sport with Keyless entry and remote start. But I've only gotten the remote start to work a couple times by mistake. (while reaching for them in my pocket)
Any one have an idea what the key combinations are to use it?
Thanks!
Bob
