Coolant Leak

My '01 Lanos has almost 244k mi on the clock and has a coolant leak from the head gasket at the flywheel end. Replacing the head gasket is the obvious fix, but with all of the other things that should get done at the same time, the job quickly becomes more complex and expensive. So I'm considering an engine swap. Does anybody here know of a source for a replacement engine, either rebuilt or low mileage used? I bought the car new and the rest of it is in pretty good condition, so I would like to keep it going it if at all possible.

Any advice or suggestion appreciated.

Re: Coolant Leak

Blue Devil Head Gasket Sealer fixed the leak. It mixes with antifreeze, so a flush was not needed. I have driven over 300 mi and the coolant level is holding.

cool. Good to know. As far a a engine goes you should beable to get those a a bone yard. Or if u want a BETTER engine u can get a GM 3800 Series II V6... I was told that thing should bolt right in being the fact the engine IN the lanos is a GM. you could also use any engine from other Daewoo's such as the Leganza, Nubira and if your in the US the US verients such as the Aveo, Spark, CRUZE, or Sonic.
