Why do they have to produce the ugliest BMW ever and not the M4, for example? The Spyder is good news, though!

What? No desire for the model of a car, having a super hot 1.5l inline 3 engine plus washing machine motor, looking like a Hoover. I can so not understand this...

Really happy we get a Porsche 918, too!!

They'll never do the FF, that's one that I've been told is definitely not on Revell AG's radar.

Would be nice to see a Speciale or Speciale A.

I didn't think much of the i8 until I saw one in person. It's pretty damn spectacular to me, makes everything else look boring by comparison. I love that I'll be able to make a model of it.

The i3, that's certainly pretty fugly. Any of the GT hatchbacks BMW makes, along w/the X6, are pretty ghastly.

As for me they both look breathtaking, but i8 looks more like alien from future, and I like its styling. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNcgmymfPOs

You are kidding, right? The "ugliest BMW ever" is forever reserved for E65 7er.
I saw i8 in person last month, it is truly remarkable.

Good stuff from Revell. Who will make McLaren P1 now?

I agree with Bob. I saw the i8 in person and it looked really cool. Bob, that's right, now I remember you saying the FF was off the table, even though it garnered a lot of votes on Revell's poll.

They can only make so many kits per year and they do have Tifosi on staff, but the FF wouldn't be the best vehicle for them to produce in terms of potential popularity and profit. Excitement sells, especially when it comes to Ferrari, and there are exciting Ferraris that we don't have kits of. While I'd build an FF, if it were my $$ making the decisions for the company, I'd be completely in agreement to do something else. There are a couple of 1/24 remote control toys of the FF for someone who just has to have one. Rastar's seems better than Maisto's FF.

I'm seriously stoked over the i8 and 918's...and the Ebbro DS19 and upcoming Revell C7 Corvette. It's going to be a great year.

Re: Porsche 918 and BMW I8 coming 2015

In my opinion, the only BMW that rivals the i8 in its ugliness is the M1 Hommage (which it borrows a lot from). There is a picture of an artist's impression of what a potential i9 could look like. If I ever buy a kit of the i8, it would be to convert it into something like this:

It will either be Aoshima or Fujimi, they have Mclaren licensing, and just as an FYI, Aoshima is going to announce two new super car tooled kits for 2015, maybe one of those is the P1
