Finnish Event Photography

Hi,

I am 40's year old an American Car enthusiastic from Finland. I have been shooting Finnish American car scene now for past four years.

We have long, dark and cold winters but in summer we drive our cars around Finland from event to event and I am there to shoot the cars. You can see past event photos from here:

I also do photo shoots cars for my car club magazine, GM-Cruisers but for paying customers too.

I didn't want to post every event separately so I opened this thread for all my upcoming events and I start with last weekends Big Länsi-Uusimaa Cruise. We drove around 150 miles in about six hours and we had four stops before we had party at the end.

Hope you enjoy my pictures!

Re: Finnish Event Photography

I attend quite lot local car events during driving season and I thought it was easier for you guys to follow one thread than make a new for every small event that I attend and photograph.

I'll kick start this thread again by "Stadi Cruising" as we do call car events as Cruising and not as Cruise-in. I do know that Cruising has a separate meaning, but we Finns has called our Cruise-in's as Cruising as long there has been informal meetings in our country.

Re: Finnish Event Photography

It was sunny and a bit chill Saturday and I was riding shot gun in friends Oldsmobile as we were on a Iso Länsi-Uusimaa Cruise. I managed to shoot around 1500 pictures, which most I deleted on a fly. A shy under 300 managed to upload on my gallery:

Re: Finnish Event Photography

And it was again first Friday of the month... I still haven\'t got around to get my El Camino back on the road, but instead I went by public transportation. And I thought I was early. I was dead wrong, there were already handful of cars waiting for market square to be emptied and cleaned up.

Re: Finnish Event Photography

Today was Second Friday of the month and weather was awesome. A lot of cars and new comers too. I almost lost it when I saw that 1969 El Camino. I think I have seen it few years ago different part of Finland, but I'll have to check the license plate from my other pictures.
