1982 Ferrari 126 C2 - US West GP - #28 - Fujimi - 1/20

Hi guys,

I managed to finish this one late last night. It's the Fujimi Ferrari 126 C2, driven by Didier Pirone during the US West GP at Long Beach. The kit overall is not that bad. I heard about fitting issues with the cowling and chassis. So started to search for flaws. First fitting with all the parts in place showed no problem only a small gap. After glueing the bodyparts together i noticed a 2mm gap that's huge. So after a new search i noticed that the rollbar is the problem. The pipes who goes to the engine are wrong. The are to high and need to be filed in de monocoque. I noticed it to late, so cut them off. I didn't at much of detail. Besides a few PE rivets en bolts. Painted with Tamiya TS8 and the Tabu decal set and 2K clear from Zero Paints. With all the problems i had, i'm glad this one is finished. Here are some pics of the final result. I hope you like them:

Till next time. Next build: Mclambo
