1990 golf gti 2500rpm&3000

golf will not run between 2500&3000rpm,runs fine below 2500 and if i can get it above 3000 it runs perfect. i have changed computer,ox sensor,idle control valve,fuel filter,spark plugs &cap,air cleaner. PLEASE HELP

Does it chug and misfire below 2500rpm and die? Check the pcv system from the block to the intake pipe for leaks. 20V or 1.8L?

car is a1.8 and it does not chug and misfire below 2500rpm it runs perfect it also will run perfect if i can get above 3000rpm right to 6000rpm, but when it falls below 3000rpm it goes into the chug and misfire mode! PLEASE RESPONE

Try misting water on the ignition wires and see if it dies. Then try the coil. If it dies replace those parts. Also try putting in a can of B&G fuel induction service or SEAFOAM fuel servie addative.
