Re: "Bits Box" & Abandoned Kits !!!

I've got heaps too. They are (mostly) sorted out into seperate boxes. One for leftover decals, one for bodys, one for wheels, you get the picture. I've even got a box full of long pieces of sprue that will be useful for heat stretching.

Here's my spares box, photochopped so you can see all the drawers open at once. From the top: Decals, spare and otherwise, some large flat stuff (like sprues with large or many related parts) and some sheet styrene resides there. First drawer, crazy stuff. Some half built motors, all built motors, pens (springs) and stuff. Second drawer, wheels! Third drawer, long styrene, solder, body and frame parts. Last drawer, the fun one, wings, exhaust, interior stuff, seats, and all the parts I go out of my way to collect (SAS stuff, wires, detail bits, photoetch and resin).

No abandoned models for me. Just parts from the rare model that gets stripped and tossed.

Wink

SORRY !!!
No harm meant, it wasn't my intention to set off any kind of trading or "swap shop" here, i just thought it would be a cool & different kind of subject to get going. The mentioned will be taken care of "behind the scenes", promise !!!
Happy modeling..........
Later, Mike.
