Re: Anyone here own a Kit car?

Hi there. I have put a Toyota 4age in my Lynx kit car. The chassis under the Lynx is a Triumph Herald. I talked to the guy who is doing the cert on it. He said jump online and download a copy of the kit build plans for us to submit with the paper work for the cert. Has any one got a copy of this. My email is rex@rexshort.co.nz. My cel is 0220 435 947. I am in Inglewood Taranaki. Thanks.

Re: Anyone here own a Kit car?

Hi, I have just read Stu Glen's [rusty] post and would like to clarify a few facts. I was there from the Lynx's conception to it's end. The Lynx buck & car No. 1 was built in Bill Lynch's garage. Bill was the third partner of WesternGlass Fibre. Bob passed away Jan 2014, Kevin M lives in Matamata & Bill still resides in West Auckland. Bill owned No.1 dark red - Fiat Twin Cam. No2 was shared by Bob & Kevin as the demo car Yellow - 1300 Ford Escort & auto, No3 Bobs nephew Stephen Blue - 1600 Ford & so on Best Regards. Anthony.

I have just purchased a Lynx . Toyota twin cam, 5 speed. Rego is "LYNX 1". Anyone know more of the history? Lady owner has garage stored it with rego on hold for past few years. Let the fun begin!

Re: Anyone here own a Kit car?

Hello, everyone.

I read much in this forum and I see that some of you have rich experience with Lynx.

My question is a bit different. I heard that Sin Cars are releasing some kind of a kit car which, as they say, will be completely configurable. As I am interested in getting a kit in my garage, does someone have more information on that topic?
