Ferrari 458 Italia matte black
Hi Gentlemen,
I haven't finished any kits in the couple of months, I started collecting diecasts also recently. Still I have some work in progress, so it was time to finish one. Another addition to my 'black with red' collection, here is my turn on the Revell Italia. Body is matte black, interior is red/black combo. HD PE parts were used, rims replaced and 458 Challenge decals were used, and a little Mustang GT wing at the end. Here are the pics, forgive me as the weather is not too friendly to take pics outside: Thanks for watching!

Looks really good. The matte turned out really smooth. I also like like graphics and the wheel choice!

Re: Ferrari 458 Italia matte black
I love it as well. The carbon inside the stripe is a nice touch. I give it a 9.8 score. If it was lowered it would be a 10. So if you want to build another one that is lowered, I will gladly take this one haha. Though I must ask where you got the wheels. The look great on the car.
Great job. Thanks for sharing!

Re: Ferrari 458 Italia matte black
Wonderful job, I love all the composition, except the rims (only a personal taste, of course).

Re: Ferrari 458 Italia matte black
Thank you guys!
As for the rims, they are 20's and called ADV 7.0M V.2. from Hobby Design, here it is: http://www.hobbyeasy.com/en/data/jtp...rxlcvgv3s.html The dish and the outer sleeve are separate parts. What I changed is that I glued the dish to the back of the sleeve not to the front, so this way those bolts are not visible to make it look even a bit bigger. As for lowering I tried my best that was all. I mean the inner part of the rims sleeve touches the swing arm at this ride height so to get more lowered look I would have had to modify the arms or the rims. Perhaps if I use the rims "normal" way not as described above I would have gain another 1 mm or so, but you guys are right, it would need lowering. Thank you guys for your comments!
