Recharging the AC. 93 colt

I'm trying to figure out where the low pressure valve is so i can recharge the Freon. I found one valve but i think it is the high pressure valve. I have looked up and down the lines, by the compressor and where the lines enter into the firewall. The one valve i have found has no letters on the cap to designate if it is high or low.

The valve is on the lower diameter tube, the tubes that come off the compressor. I cannot find a valve on the bigger diameter tube at all.

Any idea of where it might be??

I have a 93 colt. It has a 1.8 liter in it that i swapped in from a 95 mirage.

Any help would be great!!!!

That appears to be a high side port. Love the wiring! Is that wire nut acting as a switch?

Went as far as I could with the picture, can't see anything else. Can't remember that far back on Colt/Mirages. What state is the system in now?

Re: Recharging the AC. 93 colt

Theres pressure. I push the valve stem and it releases only air. The compressor seems to come on when I turn the Ac on in the car. It will blow air slightly better then when the ac is off... it still is hot tho. I traced the lines everywhere I could and cant find another valve that looks like that

Check the compressor itself. Something I remember tells me it's mounted on the compressor manifold.
