Welcome to the AF Slot Car Forum!
Well folks, thanks for making this possible and let's all work to make it the top slot car forum on the web!
As your neighborhood moderator, I'd like to request a few things.... #1 - Scale Civility: I know there's a lot of varying opinions (and snobbery) when it comes to the ideal slot car scale. Here, we'll try and cover HO, 1:32, and 1:24. Please try and be civil to everyone about their chosen scale and their choice in enjoying the hobby. #2 - Wings vs. Scale: I've heard it all "I don't play with toy cars", "Wings are for faeries", and all else. Both the wildest Opens and the most detailed models are welcome here, so treat them as such. It takes a lot of time to make a 90mph road racing car, just as it takes a lot of time to scratchbuild a brass frame beneath a well-finished, super-detailed model body. #3 - Track/Series/Sanctioning Body Politics: Please don't use our forum as a dumping ground for post-race hostility. I know there are a lot of hot-button topics in our hobby, like the "sealed" Parma motors or the lack of unilateral rules cross country, but when they're discussed, let's keep things friendly and peaceful. Otherwise, have fun, show us your cars and home tracks, tell us about the racing around your area, share some build-ups, compare some products, and celebrate slot car racing!
