Changed Cabin Filter and now there is a humming noise 2013 Grand Caravan and
I changed my cabin filter on my 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan and now there is a humming noise when AC or Fan is turned on. The noise increases and decreases with fan speed. I tried putting the old cabin filter back in to see if the new one was loose or defective, but the humming noise was still there. I also made sure airflow arrow was pointing downward. Could it be that a leaf or something fell off of the filter and is now in the blower. Anyone have any ideas? How do I check the blower?

Re: Changed Cabin Filter and now there is a humming noise 2013 Grand Caravan and
Had what I would call a tick noise that turned into a hum at high speed. Dropped the blower motor and found an inspection tag stuck in the blower cage. Thanks Chrysler. Is your noise still there with the filter removed?
Can't give specifics on your new model but should be similar to older vans. Remove the glove box, remove blower connector and mount bolts, vuala.

Yes, noise is still there with filter removed. I don't see the blower motor with glove box dropped. I'll post some pictures later.
