1995 Escort Fuel Pump replacement
Im wanting to replace with Bosch fuel pump, but cannot find one with the fuel sending unit, are these two different parts ??
I figured that doing the pump replacement, that the float and sending unit comes with the pump, I guess not.. Any input on this would be helpful ... thanks |

A quick search on Rockauto.com
You sure you want to spend that kind of money? Is your sending unit broke? About $225 just for the sending unit.

Re: 1995 Escort Fuel Pump replacement
I know about this, sending unit with float costs more than fuel pump and strainer ....

Re: 1995 Escort Fuel Pump replacement
Had to do this with an Escort GT. First, if you replace only the pump get one that has the strainer already installed. If the strainer isn't on the pump, have the parts store put in on for you - I was never able to get the strainer that came with the pump to stay on, I tried a replacement strainer, still no. Finally broke down and got a pump/sending unit with the strainer already installed and problem solved.
