Probably cutted tyre

Hi, I have an accident with my car. Do you think that a tyre has been cutted before or it's happened during the accident?

Re: Probably cutted tyre

Looks like during the accident. You obviously hit something with the side.

Re: Probably cutted tyre

Sorry to hear that, I hope you're fine. With regards to your tire, I think the damage happened during the accident. The possible reason could be that your car hit a sharp object that damage the side of your tire. Is the damage bad or everything is covered by your insurance? Hope this helps and stay safe always.

Re: Probably cutted tyre

Considering how mangled the rim is in the same circumferential area as the hole in the tire, I'd suspect the impact that caused the damage to the wheel also caused the hole in the tire. The slice in the sidewall towards the tread is pretty dark, suggesting that slice is rather fresh as well.

Re: Probably cutted tyre

If you are seeing this first time after the accident then I am sure it caused due to accident only.
