A/C Fan/Power Windows
Hi I have a problem with my 1998 Chevy Malibu. A few months ago the A/C fan and the power windows would periodically stop working simultaneously, and now they just don't work at all. I tried changing a couple fuses but had no luck. Everyone I've talked to has told me it's probably a wiring problem but I don't know. Also I've been able to bang on the dashboard a few times around the steering column and get both to turn on simultaneously for a short period of time, but eventually they stopped working again. PLEASE HELP I don't want to spend a lot of money to fix it if I don't have to.

Re: A/C Fan/Power Windows
The HVAC blower fuse and the power window circut breaker get their power from the same leg from the ignition switch. So does the cruise control and sunroof (if equipped) does it work?. Sounds to me like a ignition switch problem or a problem with the connector at the switch.
