Question 94 E250 5.8L Sputtering/misfire under all rpm/sometimes low idle

Engine runs good except for one thing.

When driving you can feel the engine losing power and suddenly picks back up. Sometimes will be fine for 10 or so miles... then.. all of a sudden, once, or repeatedly it will do it. New: Plugs, wires, ignition coil, distributor, rotor, ICM. Nothing has changed this at all. only thing i can think of is MAP or TPS, tho my understanding is if MAP, it would just load up and shut down, and if TPS it would do it at no/low throttle. Any other ideas?

oh.. Have checked for vac leaks... none found.

Exclamation Re: 94 E250 5.8L Sputtering/misfire under all rpm/sometimes low idle

Ok, as of now...

Have also replaced the Mass Air Flow, checked base timing (10deg btdc)

whats left? PCM? would a malfunctioning EGR cause any problems like this?

O2 sensor? If over 75K I would change anyway. I take it no check engine light?

unplug the rear speed sensor on the rear axle housing and see it if goes away if goes away you probably have a defective psom (programable speedometer module)

do you got any trouble codes? that would be a better way to help diagnosing the problem instead of randomly throwing parts at it

92 e350 7.5 v8. Shuts off at idle, and sputters and hesitates under load.

Ive got a 92 e350 van with a 460 efi in it.
I took it for a drive and under load it sputters horribly and shuts off . Will start back up no problem. I have replaced the old fuel filter it was very dirty but im now wondering if the fuel filter has clogged again maybe? if I were to go start it right now it would start up no issue and idle great than after a while it would start to sputter and turn offcould it clog again within a day?
I'm a first year auto apprentice but have no diagnostic experience. I'd give anything to figure it out and anything you know or any question you might have I am glad to answer.
