99 1500 radio
with in 2 days the front speakers on the truck went out ,they dont work..the back works fine...Is it the radio it self or somthing else???

im guessing you bought the truck used since you said 2 days. Did you get it from a dealer? get a warranty? I would check all the fuses and connections first.

My 99 did the same. First the left went out. I installed a new Kenwood speaker and it worked for a few days then the right began crackling. So I put the other Kenwood in. Then they both began sounding pretty bad so I turned the controls to just the rear speakers. Sounded good then. I bought a replacement Dodge radio off of eBay and now it sounds good. Must be a problem in the radio itself.
