1998 Dodge Ram 2500 V-10 8.0 Liter 4x4 Cruise control problem
I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 V-10 8.0 Liter 4x4 recently my cruise control has stopped working.
The cruise control light still comes on in my instrument panel when i turn on my cruise control however the cruise does not engage. I have looked under the hood and as far as i can tell nothing has come loose and there are no trouble codes. Anyone have any ideas?

Dark Knight, can you please tell us what fixed it? Mine does this intermittantly. It might work just fine for days, then while on my way to work it'll quit. The next time I start the truck it usually works fine.

I have a 1998 2500 diesel. I would like to know what dark knight did to repair his. My problem is similar to leadhead. Intermitent. As long as the truck is cold, the cruise works. When it's warm, it doesn't engage & won't until the next day. Went on a long trip & was only able to use it for a short period each day. This weekend it was fine. Go figure. Leads me to believe it's electronic. Either a hidden relay or the CCM.
