Mark, love the progression images as you move toward the finished image.
Incredible level of detailing in the whole layout.

Re: % Alarm T

Like Blip wrote. I especially like the reflections on the engine and the headlight samples.
I don't know if I remember this right, did you mention in the past about having a Cintiq?
I'm still up in the air about getting one. It's not about affording one, but it's about if I'm ready for one.

Re: % Alarm T

Thanks Mark. I highly recommend the Cintiq and you are definately ready for one if the money isn't an issue. It will open a new worls to you.

Here are a couple other variations of this drawing. One is the color sans the outline work the other is a traditional, '60's show car look…

Re: % Alarm T

Well, I couldn't resist anymore - I bought a Cintiq 22hd through B&H (free shipping and no tax) and they had them new for $100.00 cheaper than Wacom. Pretty excited.

Very cool Marc, prepare to be dazzled… On a happy note, I save all my work from my Mac onto an external HD. For some reason, It turns on, loAds up and is recognized in my computer's disc utilities but won't open on the desck top. The message I get when I try to varify and restore the drive says it needs to be erased
and rebooted so save as many files as possible. How do I do that when I can't open it?

Hey Mark, did you ever go to Wacom and ask about the problem? When I had problems with Corel Painter12, they bent backwards for me. Unfortunately, I returned it...too many bugs and I wasn't alone on the problem.
I can't wait for the Cintiq. I've watched on YouTube on how inking with Illustrator responds so well on the screen. It will feel like actually drawing than being so disconnected when using a tablet.
Yeah. I have an external HD too - everything is saved to that and done stuff to flash drive.
