Rx7 all the way, supra is a a great ride but in my opinion rx7 looks a little better. Handling from what i have heard RX7 takes the cake .... u just gotta give it to the rotary power.

Sorry, all latest gens forgot to mention that.
Yeah, 7's are a bitch and a quarter to work on, and they need a looooot of workin! (That's why I said reliability not a factor ) Yeah, port overlap it is poly, hehe. I saw a pic on the "new" concept 7, its kinda uglified, like the 300zx was to the 350Z

Can you show us a link to this alleged new RX7 Steel?
I've been giving serious thought to rebuilding the 12A that's in the '81 right now... sure it weighs 350lbs, but I'm sure it would make a great project engine for a Super 7 or something Hey, maybe I'll assemble a spare transaxle, and make a mid engined rotary powered tube frame roadster! Please, someone stop me now, I'll do it :hehehe:

Well I am bucking my Nissan Trend here and choosing the Supra. I am assuming the Generation is open.
While it is heavier than the RX7, and I do like the Series 6 shape, the supra is a nice all round package with a very strong base to work with in the future. I honestly dislike the rotary engine. Reliability being a major factory, followed by the exhaust note. Handling is not as crisp with the supra as it is with the RX but overall ride, comfort, go to whoa, and finish has swayed my choice.

AS for comfort You have to go wtih the Z. It was voted one of the best sport cars to tracvel in. It is very comfortable compared to the other two.

nonono, not the RX-8, but a 4th gen 7. I can't seem to find the pic now but when i do, i'll post it.
Razor: I think the exhaust note is the coolest out of any cars for the 7 (read- LOUD)

Yeah, I heard they've been working on a lightweight 2 door they want to market as the RX7... 4th Generation RX7! That would be series 8 I suppose?

no, iirc, it looked completley differnt than the 8. And they are only going to make it if the 8 sells good.... so go out and buy RX-8's!

I would ahve to go with the rx7. i have driven my friends at an autocross, not that i ahve driven a supra or 300zx, but i don't see how it could feel any better than what that felt.

I've driven all 3 (briefly) and I'd have to say by far my personal choice is the Supra. I like the RX7 for handling but I just love the way the Supra moves. And I don't like the idea of a rotary. I'll stick with my pistons. Those rotary engines wear out faster. (at least my friend's did)
Granted, the 300Z IS comfortable but throw some racing seats in that Supra and I'm good. The S. comes with so much power stock and it's so cost effective vs. other cars of its stature/type (I'm talking the TT here) Now the 300Z is cheap and it comes with huge potential but you've already got a shitload of power with the Supra. Supras are pretty scare around here, they've mostly all migrated to the coasts, so when you do have the honor of seeing one it's pretty special and 'exotic'. RX7s are fairly rare but I had a friend with one so it wasn't as special and then 300Zs are pretty common. In terms of body style They're all 3 nice. I love the wide body style of the RX7 and the Z for that matter... and I like the cabin and the back lights on the RX7 but the S. is so aerodynamic and rounded and SO DAMN SEXY. but hey that's my personal preference... I guess my opinions a bit biased. Since the Supra is like my favorite car in the world... I actually had a choice between the Supra and an RX7 (both with some real minor body damage, something like 94-97, w\ 40-60K miles.) Gettin a Supra come Septemberish. ...I want my Supra...

I must be getting ol... the Supra lookslikea jelly bean wanna be Esclipe the rx-7 is pretty exotic actually..
But the 300zx ook it category 5 out 7 years all 3 were aeround it's sleeker, cleener and flat out smoking as far as performance they are all within tenths of each other so the right mods willl maake anyone beat the other... You couldn't give me Supra uhh makes me think of the Srt-4 trying to hard to look cool... Rx-7 just were.. cool but too small and inmy opinion overated..at one time al you heard about was how great they were.. wat happened no its the 300 for sure |

I have to go Supra on this one...I've driven modified 300z's and I still think the Supra's have them beat when it comes to power and the delivery of the power. I'm biased in my opinion though.
