Me picking on the slower guys. . .
well its been a while since ive had a race worth mentioning, but i finally got one.
So saturday morning my gf and i are headed to my house, driving down a nice big 4 lane road. early on i see a new looking BMW325i and a Saab 93 convertable driving. The BMW is blinged out with some fat rims, and i mean wide. Windows were tinted so i couldnt see inside. Well the 93 passes us and is kinda driving aggressively, weaving in and out of traffic. So the BMW catches up to the saab and they start racing. Well there were cars between us, so i didnt even bother trying to catch up to them. I make it to the next light, and the two cars are lined up in the center two lanes, i cant get lined up because the other lanes have cars in them. So i get behind the BMW which is on the left side of the center lanes. Light goes green and they both take off. As soon as the lane to left clears i jump over and hit it. The BMW quickly falls behind i pass him like hes standing still, the 93 put up a bit more of a fight, but i still managed to have a car length on it by 65-70. Afterwards the 93 did a flyby. . .dick. But i did get to see my favorite face, it seems anytime i race someone who is expecting to beat me, i get this face thats like wtf is in that? it felt like that video were the cavalier and civic are racing, and out of nowhere and Cobra just flies past them. It was pretty funny. |

the way i see it, cavaliers are chick cars, a cavalier on steroids has to make them go crazy.

Nice kills. I have never raced a Saab. Dunno how well they'd fair. I've heard the Viggens can be quick.

Jayson has a clean Cavalier... why should he sell it? I wouldn't mind an SCed J-body.

Re: Me picking on the slower guys. . .
well its a good fun car how it is right now. But im not gonna see anything faster than low 14's in it without doing internals. And im not to keen on doing that.
Originally i was gonna get a Cobalt SS Supercharged in the fall, but i have just found out that in 2007/2008 they are going to turbo the Cobalt SS and give it 260HP. So im just gonna hang onto the cavy till then. |

Re: Me picking on the slower guys. . .
Or get a Goat! you like them and you can have one for the same down payment the Cobalt would be......just a few more bucks a month but eh.

Re: Me picking on the slower guys. . .
I'd definitely hold off until that turbocharged Cobalt SS comes out. I would take that car over the new GTO, since it is turbocharged. I'm sure GM will make sure it is capable of being modded.
Gosh, all these talks of new cars makes me want one
