John Lennon's Town & Country

I didn't realize John Lennon ever HAD a T&C, but he did. He owned it when he was murdered 30 years ago. It's being sold today...check out the car:

Lennon's Chrysler sold for....$5,500. Not quite the $40,000 some were anticipating.

That's just about what a loaded big block Mopar wagon in fine shape would go for anyways. Obviously not much of a premium there.

Perhaps it would have sold for more if it had some dippy/hippie counterculture swirly paint job on it. His Rolls sold for $2.3 million 25 years ago.

That would be pretty cool to have though. Not biggest Beatles fan, but still it would be a cool conversation piece.
