Re: Some of your rarest kits?

Sorry to resurrect an old-ish thread, thought I’d add my 2cents!

Just a few I think.

Tamiya 1/12th:
Lotus 49
Lotus 49B
Porsche 910

Other:
Protar Ferrari 156/85 F1 1/24th
Protar Ferrari 162C2 1/24th
Protar Raleigh racing bicycle 1/9th
Johan Superbird Nascar (Petty) 1/25th
Tamiya Porsche 911 Kobe Seiko 1/24th
Esci Ford Escort Mk2 British Airways 1/24th
Airfix Ferrari Dino Prototype 1/24th
AMT Ghostbusters Ambulance 1/24th
Modelers Footwork FA13 F1 1/20thth
Kawai Williams Honda FW09 1/20th
Academy Benetton B195 1/20th
Starter Ford RS200 Rally 1/43rd
Hasegawa Subaru Impreza 1995 RAC Rally 1/24th
Tamiya Ford Escort Cosworth Repsol 1/24th

None of these bought because they were rare, more just at the time of release because I liked them and just haven’t built them yet!

Not full kits but I do have one of the SMS super detail sets for the Porsche 911 GT1 and two for the Mercedes Benz CLK-GTR.

Re: Some of your rarest kits?

How about an MPC 1968 Indy Eagle T-Offy still in the original shrink wrap purchased for ~$1.70 from Autoworld in ~1972!

Re: Some of your rarest kits?

The only kit I have that I would consider somewhat rare is the AMT '68 Cougar XR7.

Re: Some of your rarest kits?

Hi,

as an absolute new member, here's my first attempt to post pictures. Hope it will work:

Matra Jet5 from Maquettes Verneuil. The only one I've ever seen.

Renault Floride by Maquettes Record. One of two I've ever seen.

Both in 1/24. The Matra unbuilt but instructions are missing and it seems to be not totally complete. The Floride is in absolute mint condition.

CAN ANYBODY HELP WITH INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE MATRA?? PLEEEEAAAASE.

Rare enough ?

Kind regards, Andy
