Re: 2005 GMC Yukon XL Fuel issues......

Just wanted to update on my fuel issues... Truck is up and running!! I ended up dropping the fuel tank again and found out a couple things... First was the return line was not seating properly. I thought that I would be able to use the old plastic connector but i barely touched it and it came right unplugged. So I replaced it. Second was the electrical connections. The main connector wasn't clicked in all the way and the pressure sensor was pinched. Anyways, got those clicked in properly and tank back in place and low and behold.... fuel pressure holds at or near 60psi! Have not had any problems with starting or when I get into the throttle! Guess rushing because of the cold weather is NOT a good practice! And always...Always make sure to have good connections!

Thanks for all the help and hope everyone had a Safe and Happy Holiday!
