Any idea what the 2003+ manual Cavalier/Sunfire coupes (Ecotec obviously) run in the quarter? I am guessing low 16's...Any confirmation?

Put your car up against an SS and see if your still talking shit!

BTW...here are the specs of the 2.2L Ecotec DOHC engin straight from chevrolet's site...

Horsepower/kW @ engine RPM 145/108.17 @ 5600 RPM
Torque (lb.-ft./N-m) @ engine RPM 155/210.15 @ 4000 RPM

If you can take that...then you can just about take a 2.4.

What mods do you have to take thet new Cobalt?

Re: 1/4 mile times

mines got a ram air intake with a custom hood scoop placed over the intake filter...high conductivity plug wires, distributor cap, performance spark plugs, aftermarket camshaft, elctronic shift kit improver for an automatic, header, catback exhuast, fuel regulator,....but anyways..i heard all this talk the eco being a sweet engine but i took one on just to check it out and this guy had a standard one and im auto and i was gone off the line...and he never peeled out either..just....slow
