AC/Heater noise? 06 Tacoma

I had My 06 TRD Tacoma serviced and they changed the air filter in the cabin. Since then there is a noticeable vibration from the heating/cooling fan when it is on high and the position just below high...this is on the interior not in the engine. Has anyone ran accross this? Prior to the filter replacement it was very quiet, now it sounds like some old car heater from the 70s.

Re: AC/Heater noise? 06 Tacoma

this same thing happened to my 95 tacoma and all it was, was the blower, i just bought a used blower off of a '98 in a junk yard for $30. it was 3 screws right underneath the glove box (not sure were on the '06) and the old blower just slides right out. it took me about 5 minutes to do the whole thing. might be the problem.
