The Chevrolet Cheyenne is a concept truck unveiled at the Detroit show in January. There's no model year associated with it, but it is supposed to show some glimpse of the next generation Silverado/Sierra. Don't expect 500hp in the next mainstream model although it might need to go that high in the SS model.

Here are some pics... I don't really like the way it looks, and I hope the next Silverados don't look like this...

:apuke: That thing is ugly. The front end looks too much along the lines of a car.

I just saw it up close at the NY Int'l Auto Show. Very practical. Tool boxes in the truck bed, opening doors on the truck bed for access, extra gas tank in the rear door, and a stylish interior. The front end is a little... ugly, and the walls of the bed are too high. But with some changes, this could definitely be the Silverado of the future.

i think if they made the windshields not seem so angled it would look alot better in the from , more traditional . Its way to sleek for work !!! I love the doors on the side of the bed , thats hardcore man !!!

The motor and all the cool things like the bed and stuff are good ideas, but the truck is just so ugly IMO.

Eww...now that's UGLY!
The bed doors are a good idea, but I wonder what the price tag would be. I'm curious why people still buy $30-50K trucks with 4X4/lifts... would YOU go off road and get it dinged up and scratched? I prefer getting in an old truck or something, because the paint is already messed up.

Re: 2006 chevrolet cheyenne

ummm... you guys are on crack. The new Cheyenne is a next generation S-10 or Sonoma...the midside trucks in chevy world, thats going to come out and be manufactures in a few years...its highly unlikly that it will have"500hp 580torqe 35 inch tires ", it just a small truck....with maybe a small base V8 at the most.
