1995 Nissan SE, idle surge

1995 Nissan SE truck...6cyl, automatic transmission with 79,000 miles. Had this problem before and it cleared up itself but it's been acting up again for the last 2 days...The RPM (idle speed) will surge when I slow down or come to a stop...Any ideas on what my problem could be?.Thanks for ANY help....Pete

you may need to read the codes on the computer under the pass seat. it a bit of a pain but you can find the process to read them on google or find someone that has the right nissan reader
