Ignition switch, starter relay or starter?
2007 . Have an intermittent starter continues to crank even though key is in run position. Figure those are the only 3 things that could affect it. Any troubleshooting or guesses. Or am I just going to have to replace parts? I have lubed the ignition switch. So it never has stuck in the "start" position.

Re: Ignition switch, starter relay or starter?
I would be leaning towards the relay....go to the relay center, and swap the relay with another with the same number on it, and see if that takes care of the problem....if it does replace the swapped out relay....

Re: Ignition switch, starter relay or starter?
Sometimes it is just the starter itself with the bendix hanging up.

Re: Ignition switch, starter relay or starter?
Update. Been 12 days since switching the relay. So far no starter running after cranking. Thanks

Re: Ignition switch, starter relay or starter?
Good to hear it sounds like a simple fix.
