custom car contest rules.
ok here are the rules for the custom car contest.
#1: All cars entered must exhibit some form of customized bodywork. Customized bodywork will be defined as any self-made (no kit options ) modification made with the intention of deviating from a stock or race car replica. #2: Interiors, Chassis, and Engines may also display modification, but may not be the sole realm of modification. #3: All models entered in final judging must be complete. Primer only if primer is final color. #4: the finial entrys will be judged by the public. members may vote for ONE kit and should be done via pm to me. #5: there has to be a progress thread made on your entry. it CAN NOT be a previoulsy completed model. #6: all entrys must be made before the 10th of march. anything after march 10th will not be accepted. the contest will end on wensday may 12th. and juging will be may 13th-17th. there is no initial prize unless someone wants to present one. thanks to Layla's Keeper for rules 1-3, and everyone for there input. if you wish to enter the contset, then make it known in this thread. thank you, Robert l. |

From 10 march to 12 may. And we'll vote from 13 to 17 may. Am I wrong? Appart from this: You can count me in too! I've remembered that I had a Citroen 2cv kit from Heller which unfortunatelly missed the clear and tire sprues... I didn't know what to do of it, well, let's try to make it a custom!!!! It will become a mid-engine roadster, or something like that... It will be my first try on modifying: hope I'll manage to finish it! lol! I suppose our in-progress threads should be post first on march 10th(?).... I propose to name them: "custom car contest:mycar" (example) , so that everybody can find them easily in the forum...

Re: custom car contest rules.
So, let me get this straight - Our notification to enter must be made before March 10. What constitutes an entry? A reply in this thread? Or a posted progress thread? I'm not trying to be difficult, just trying to understand the rules.

Re: custom car contest rules.
Just do it... and post pics of your face during the progress (awake, stressed, tired, disappointed, etc...): that would be fun! lol!
(it's something I plan to do...)

as long as you can prove that its not an already completed kit then it will be ok if you dont post that many pics.
