Creases in body
I have just started my first model (Tamiya WRX STI) looking at the body there are some marks, like creases.
Do I need to fill them first or will they come out during sanding prep for spraying Sorry the picture isn't very good |

Re: Creases in body
can you feel them or just see them? a model car body is going to look like that but it should feel smooth to the touch. it should be perfect surface wise, but visually the swirl-like looking plastic is common.

Re: Creases in body
Most likely they will go out with the sanding prep so it wont be a problem.

if you cant feel them, it shouldnt be a problem. its caused by the IP flow when they come in different direction and collide.

Thats nothing, thats how the plastic was molded into the body, there not creases, there just where the plastic met together and blended.

the tamiya models I've built have had metallic looking particles in them...that's just from the molding process, and you wouldn't see it without the particles...I don't know why they do it, but they do.
