metallic paint problem???
Hi,
From this forum İ learnt a lot,but still have a question. I learnt that ı must not polish the metalic paint,ı have to clearcoat it than polish. This is okey but what if after painting with metallic paint ı see orange peel on the paint? do i have to sand it or must leave it? |

Re: metallic paint problem???
Leave it alone. If you want to know whether clearcoat will cure your problem or not, run a simple test. Put your model (the one that has orange peel after you painted it a metallic colour) under a tap with running water. That's what your model will look like after it's clearcoated and the clearcoat is polished.

clearcoat first then lightly sand/polish, be careful not to go through the clear.
