Tiburon 2.7 V6 rev limiter
Hello everybody
I have searched the forum, but havent found the answer, so the question would be: My car doesnt run more than 5000 - 5200 RPM, at those RPM it sounds like a rev limiter starts to work, but the redline starts at 6500 RPM! Whats my cars problem? Is it rev limiter? If so - why it starts to work so early? Any salvations? Thank you in advance P.S. sorry for my English, hope you got the idea |

it doesnt have a limiter, it has a fuel cut off.. do you have any mods? what transmission?

your clutch could be messed up and its not willing to go anymore hence not being able to redline

crank position sensor is fouled, take it off and clean it up. Put it back and see if it revs freely to 6,500.
