Question on 91 GTSL before buying
I have found a 91 SL that appears to be in good condition. Auto w 104K miles on it. Had new water pump and timing belt replaced at 100K.
They are asking $5K for it. All power options are working. Don't have alot extra for repairs, if necessary. How reliable are the 91SL? Anything to watch out for? TIA |

Re: Question on 91 GTSL before buying
It sounds good. The 91's were pretty good and im not sure about the auto's but i know the manual trannys had a little bit of an issue. Other than that it sounds good and a good price at that too. Good luck.

The timing belt should have been replaced at 60K, if it wasnt replaced until 100K they may have neglected car, so watch out. However they could have replaced it a second time at 100K which is understandable. Other than that it sounds pretty good.
