Lowering a Sidekick

I drive a 1998 Suzuki Vitara / Sidekick and I was thinking about lowering it.
The problem I see is that the stock front wheels are already close to the bump-stops. With lower-springs (35 or 40 mm) it seems that it will be riding on the bumpstops, which I think will make the ride rough.

I found some H&R springs, but they only lower it 35mm (1.25 inch).

Did you change of modify the bumpstops?

they say 1.25" on average when i first installed them it dropped about 2", after setting in for a year it dropped another .5" i also installed a pair of Koni rear sport shocks at the same time as the springs so maybe the shocks helped them drop more i have a homepage with all my mods check it out http://members.cardomain.com/ghostdog98
