yeah...I say with proper timing and fueling... 8 is a reasonable number..some people go up to 10-12, just make sure you've got the fuel and spark and you can be safe in that range...but that takes some tuning...

to be safe keep it around 5-7psi on stock internals/fuel pressure/spark.

i dont remember saying that. i've got bolts on, and thats about it. its a revhard turbo and im paying $2400 for it. not bad its never been used. hopefully i get into the low 12's high 11's. im thinking about not getting a blowoff valve so people wont know what i have, or if do(which i probley will)turn it down real low.

use a bypass valve then ... bypass serves the same purpose as a blowoff valves but instead of purging the excess boost in the otmosphere it bleeds it back into the intake before the turbo.
no noise... very efficient.

a BOV is kind of a necessity on a turbo. without a blow off valve, pressure pushes against the closed throttle plate and will force itself backwards through your turbo.

You must have some way to bleed off the excess exhaust or your turbine will stop spinning everytime you let off the gas. That means that it will 1. fuck up your turbo after a while and 2. cause you to have to spool up everytime you shift or let off the gas.
