tire rod end/ball joint replacement
in 5 yrs i have spent alot of money fixing the front end of my 1995 honda civic ex and it still isnt right. my tires wear on the inside of the tire (more on the left side than the right) to where the metal stuff is showing.this is what ive had replaced;
2001- right c/v shaft = $188 2002-half shaft front left (im assuming thats c/v?) =$171 2003 replace front struts /alignment =$297 2007 replace left inner tie rod end/alignment replace left lower control arm inner bushing & replace bushing for lower strut mount = $441 and many alignments in between So what the heck is the problem, i was told you cant relpace just the lower control arm bushing on this car. im having someone fix my car agin they are putting tie rod ends on again both sides & i dont want to waste any more money. i realize im a girl & the prices reflect that. lol thank you |

Re: tire rod end/ball joint replacement
next time you get it aligned, ask for a print out of before and after, then bring the specs here, they may not be adjusting the toe correctly
