Can I install these myself? CVC & Freq Valve
I have a 1990 Acura Legend, 2 door. I need a smog check for California.
I just took the car into the dealership to check out why the Check Engine light comes on occasionally. The results are that it needs: CVC Valve Frequency Valve The cost of parts and installation would be $540. 1. Are these parts user installable? I have average mech skills and have done non-computer car work in the past. If so, what book/manual would I buy to work me though the process? 2. Any ideas what these parts would cost over the internet or non-dealership parts place? Any other comments/suggestions are welcome. Thanks, Tim |
