You can absolutely swap in an rb25det and leave the wheel on the left. The downpipe fitment issues are with the rb26dett.

the twin turbos also impede with the steering column in the LHD cars.

Ya thats what i though ohh well, so you will need alot of custom work to get a RB26det in there then huh!! ohh well RB25 is good enough for me.!!!

i have a 93 240sx and i swaped the engine with the RB26DETT,. i had some problems when i swaped it but everything worked out and the engine is a monster. some problems when i swaped it------->i had to take one of the turbos off and instead of twin turbo its just one. but even thought it still gives me about 310-320 hp at the flywheel (including some other mods i made to the car) the swap was fairly easy for everything except the turbo incedent. i have a 6 speed gear box, and its awesome... i had to do alittle frame work but it didnt take too long and everthing worked out great. i bought the engine from a japanise import-export dealer and it cost me $8500.00 including shipping. i have never been beaten in a straight line race. (that is after i got the engine swaped, but before that i have been beaten many times) well i dont race much, yet, because i am waiting for more $$$ so i can get some more mods... etc well if you wanna know anything just ask....

uhh, i wonder what part of st louis tokar lives.......i like to think that i know hte 240 market around here pretty well, and if i dont, alan sure as hell does.....i've never heard of this rb26 powered 240sx.....and surely someone i know would have.

another dirtydawgs on our hands? why to people need to be so damn feeble? i drive a 12 year old, 344,000km Pontiac family car with an automatic transmission and no hubcaps, yet i'll readily admit it. i won't lie about what i drive. i don't necessarily like the car i drive, but it get's me around, and i know i'll have a 240SX before October (have to wait until after my court date).

ya i am 16, and i did the swap, i bought the engine from a japanise import-export car dealer, i did the swap at my brother in laws shop (where i work), and i live in west county st. louis, i ushally go to the racing strip at gateway but since i did the swap.. i have been working on the car and havent had much time to race with it, ............ and if you wanna check my car out, and you live in st. louis why dont you drop by my brother in lwas shop its called Vasas performace parts. the address is 14204 manchester rd. why dont you stop by, and just ask for me (sasha) i am ushally there.

i'm still doubting this rb26dett in a 240......vasas performance isnt listed in the new phone book, and no one in stl has ever heard of vasas performance, at least the peole i've talked to. but i'm comin out there this week.

i looked it up in the white pages....no such thing as "vasas performance parts". sorry kid, i'm raisin the flag until i actually see it.....and i will be driving to find it.
