Ferrari 599 GTB 1:24 Revell
This is 2nd model I made and it's another Ferrari but this time a 599. As you can see I've messed up this one big time, first of all when gluing parts together and also when I decided to give a go with polishing the body. I've left it for too long, it has all dried up and it was too late to remove it. A LOT of flaws here but at least I've learned my lesson... well kinda. I hope to prove it when I get around to building 599GTO.

Re: Ferrari 599 GTB 1:24 Revell
If you're worried about polishing compound residues in the panellines, a drop of water and a cotton bud / Q-tip will remove most of it. Much better than trying to scratch it out when dry.
And yeah, it's always a pain to glue a Revell body to the chassis. That's why I mostly use white glue (the transparent drying type). You can use more than needed, and simply wipe off the excessive glue that comes out of the joint. You have to fix body and chassis with some clamps or similar for several hours, however.

Welcome to the forum. With every build you will learn something believe me. Even the most experienced builders on here always have something new to learn. Good job on the build.

The compound can also be removed with a very soft toothbrush and running water. Nice build by the way.
