99 slk top stuck in open position

Just got home, pushed button to close top, trunk lid opened and that was it. I still heard servo motor but nothing happens. HELP!!!!!!

does the top run back into the fully opened position? sounds like a limit switch is not working. run the top switch so that it tries to close the roof, keep it pressed until the pump motor stops running then connect your mercedes scan (has to be factoy) tool to the top control unit and check for fault codes. there you will find the fault code related to the faulty limit switch. inspect that switch and repair or replace as needed.

always make sure the luggage cover is in the latched position first.

did u ever find out what was wrong with the top not going up i had the same problem yesterday cant figure it out.
