94 grand prix window motor replacement
I am looking for instructions on how to replace the drivers side window motor. It seems that it is riveted in place? Can someone please tell me how to remove it so that I could replace it. Thanks

The power window mechanism is cable driven by a Bowden cable system which many GM cars share. A common problem is the motor and regulator assembly. The link below should give you an idea of the work involved. It is for a Grand Am but the process is similar. The only difference is there should be a few rivets that need to be drilled out on a Grand Prix regulator assembly in addition to removing various bolts. Either way you'll need to remove the door panel for inspection and/or troubleshooting. It's held on by several plastic push clips and you need to remove the screws. Good luck! http://www.a1electric.com/grandam.htm
