ok lets see what we need. First off you will need Engine, tranny and ECU.
I got my whole package for 1,100 a couple of months ago so you are gonna spend around 1,300 for that unless you can get a deal. you are going to need a motor mount kit. Alot of companies make them but they are shit so I would recommend only Hasport motor mounts which you can probably get for about 350-400. you will then need shift linkage which is available from hasport too for 150-200. Okay you want to convert your Auto to Manual? I hope you have enough know how to do that but you will need shift linkage like I said then you will need the shifter and everything around that and the plastics from one that had a manual in it. Go find one from a junkyard. If you are going to pay someone to do it it will cost a hella load more because they will not only need to install the motor and all but then run new wires from your ecu to Vtec Solenoid, Vtec pressure, knock sensor and secondary o2. its alot of labor your are talking about thats why i am glad I did the swap myself. ohh yeah make sure your get a PR3 ECU and not one for an auto. It will kill performance and the ECU will always run in limp mode. Hope that gives you a slight estimate of how much you are gonna need to spend! |
