4 wheel issues

I ran in to a problem with my 98 Blazer, i clicked it in to 4h and then 4l but couldnt get it back to 2h, after hours of reading, checking, tcm on the passenger side floor panel, trying another one, changing the actuater valve and topping up the transfer case with fluid, nothing,
Finally i followed the wire from the transfer case to a fuse panel in the engine compartment and checking the tcm fuses one had burnt out, replaced it and it changed no problem,,,
If the light flashes and it wont change from 4h to 2h ,, i learned to look for fuses first.
