It kinda looks like a Wartburg (East German). It's eastern European in origin.

God you people are uninformed, anybody with a braincell count over 10 knows that's a ZAZ 968, Produced in the USSR. It has a 38hp air-cooled V-4 engine in the rear, and the styling was copied from NSU's Prinz model.
Here's a site with a short history of these cars:http://home.clara.net/peterfrost/zaz.html And another picture of this model(an early 968), from the rear. You can see that a Trabant 601 is parked in front of it - they keep good company!
