Automatic 2005 Corvette or Manual 2004 350z
Hi Im in the market for a new coupe and found these two cars. I have really enjoyed the appearance of each but am a little ignorant as to which would give me the better driving experience. I;ve found these cars for within $100 of eachother, and I really have to make a decision. I'll be upgrading from a 98 Ford Explorer, so matter which one I get, they will both be a gigantic upgrade =) What are your thoughts?
PS Lets leave the domestic vs. import debates at the doorstep. Thanks! |

depends on if you can drive stick shift though, cause if you dont then your screwed, or if you get someone who cant teach right (even though its not hard) you will go through some clutches but if your looking to buy one of those putting money out for a clutch should not be that much of a problem. i think the 350z would get better mpgs too

350z in my opinion is one of the coolest looking cars... corvette is going to be faster. depends on what your into i guess. urban people will like the 350z and rural will like the corvette if your going for looks thats what i have to say. 350z more fun to drive

Re: Automatic 2005 Corvette or Manual 2004 350z
I would take the 350z
Corvette Cons: 1=too many on the road 2=pop up headlights look outdated Corvette Pros: 1=resale value 2=it's a corvette Z Cons: 1=Nissan not as good in quality as a Toyota or honda 2=upcoming 370z will make 350z look outdated Z Pros: 1=not too many on the road 2=it's a japanese corvette If you want a car that blends the two together, get a low mileage 1990-1996 twin turbo manual trans 300z, its looks like a corvette, would be less expensive than either of the two cars you are considering and the cool factor is way higher.

I just realized the original post started on Sept 26th, the guy probably already bought a car and will never even read this! I will be quiet now.
