Re: 3.8SC Engine Swap
Welcome to AF.
The conversion is extensive, time consuming and expensive considering the value of your GA GT. However, it has been done successfully. See pic.

Re: 3.8SC Engine Swap
yeah Milzy Motorsports sells a conversion kit for this swap not cheap at all !
piggy backin the PCM's and BCM's is the real trick to this swap. I have considered attempting this swap myself, but thiers not a lot of data to help. And this would require some help.

Speaking of other mods the 3400 has a lot of aftermarket stuff available that works so that would be another option for more power.

Re: 3.8SC Engine Swap
That is true Bob.
Though thier is nothing like poppin the hood on your lowly GA and seeing a SC 3800 in there. I could see some fun at the parts store when you ask for a 3.8 part for your GA. But as you said Bob thier are a lot of mods for the 3400 that can get the HP up thie with the 3800. A way cheap and easier then doin the 3.8 swap. ps- the GTP Comp G is the real treat w/paddle shifters.
