How Cedar Rapids, Iowa does a free car show

During the summer months, the local Lithia dealer opens up their lot to car enthusiasts. There's no entry fee to put your car on display, and no admission fee to walk around, socialize, and get up close and personal with a lot of cars. The Cadillac/GMC/Buick/Kia dealership does this on the second Tuesday of the month. Unfortunately I believe last Tuesday was the last event for this year, but hopefully they'll support this again next summer. The turn out is great, both in cars and spectators.

I've pasted a link to a friend's Picasa album with a sampling of the many cars that showed up last Tuesday. While many of the cars show up month after month, every month seems to bring in new cars as well.
